Central States Industrial (CSI) designs, fabricates and distributes stainless steel components for the sanitary processing industries, which include: food, dairy, beverage, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and personal care. Since our beginning, the focus of our services has shifted to design, custom fabrication and distribution of stainless steel products for the sanitary processing industries, including pharmaceutical and bio-technology. Our corporate office and manufacturing facility is located in Springfield, Missouri, allowing us to ship our products from coast to coast. In August 2006 CSI opened a distribution warehouse in Fresno, California to better serve the west coast area and in June 2008 CSI acquired another facility in Morrisville, NC. The ideal candidate must have prior success selling high end engineered products and systems to buyers, management, and or directors of large corporations in a competitive market and against established vendors. You must be willing to prospect and find new opportunities. You must be excellent at finding new opportunities, building relationships, growing existing accounts and have excellent listening skills and problem solving skills. You should be a self starter, be highly motivated and goal oriented and able to work without supervision but as part of a team. Experience with fluid handling equipment for the food, dairy, beverage processing industries helpful. You must be willing to travel at least 60% of the time and have had prior earnings of at least 50,000. We have several sales openings located in California, North Carolina, and Midwest.

EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience; required Computer proficiency; required MS Word; required AS400; preferred Equipment sales experience in food and/or pharmaceutical industries, desired Exposure to estimating design and application of process equipment, desired Mechanical aptitude; desired COMPENSATION: Base salary plus commission 100% paid for family medical and prescription coverage, life insurance short-term disability, long-term disability, Employee paid dental, vision, Aflac supplemental insurance 401(k) with matching 5 days vacation after 6 months and 10 days vacation after 1 year
