Serving in a leadership role within our Process Engineering group, you will plan and implement scientific/engineering and technical projects in order to evaluate, develop and scale-up processes for plasma-derived and recombinant proteins. Activities are centered on the development and transfer of unit operations such as fermentation, inclusion body recovery, cell culture, and recovery unit operations including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, diafiltration, nanofiltration, chromatography, centrifugation, enzymatic conversion, lyophilization, and process trouble shooting. Additional tasks involve designing/planning/conducting experiments; coordinating project teams; contributing to development projects/technologies, publications, intellectual property; preparing appropriate technical reports; and identifying new technologies to continuously improve processes.

Engineering with 2-12 years'' relevant experience to include process development, production and/or engineering within a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Background must include experience in technology process transfer and process development and an excellent understanding of cGMP regulations. Candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with Position requires BS, MS or PhD in Chemical, Biomedical or Biochemical other departments; have excellent problem solving ability; and possess skills in writing and presenting technical data and documentation.
