Scientist, Pharmaceutical Development Analytical Sciences

Infinity Pharmaceuticals is an innovative cancer drug discovery and Development Company that is seeking to discover, develop, and deliver to patients, first-in-class or best-in-class medicines for the treatment of cancer and related conditions.

As a member of the Pharmaceutical Development group, the successful candidate will work on new and ongoing analytical methods development and support for Infinity’s Development programs. Responsibilities include: • Analytical method development to support drug substance and drug product characterization, stability and release as well as manufacturing process development. • Operation of analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, MS, GC, FTIR, and IC. • Oversight of technical method transfer, document/data review, and experimental design of various CRO. • Close interaction with Process Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, individual chemists and project teams as needed to support analytical development needs.

• MS/PhD Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or closely related field with 4-6 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience with MS Chemistry or 0-3 years with PhD. • Chromatography experience with depth of practical experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC-UV, HPLC-MS, and Gas Chromatography. • Familiarity with various analytical techniques including MS, MSMS, FTIR, KF, NMR, and IC. • Excellent laboratory, computer, documentation, communication and organizational skills required • Must have strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
