Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is an innovative cancer drug discovery company focused on discovering and developing therapeutics that target cancer cell survival utilizing Infinity’s novel small molecule chemistry platform. Our successful drug discovery efforts have made it necessary to expand our process chemistry team.

Applicants would be joining a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for identifying and optimizing synthetic routes to clinical development candidates, scaling development candidates in our internal kilo lab for use in critical pre-IND studies, as well as managing technology transfers to and GMP production at a CMO. Applicants would have the opportunity to contribute in all of the above functions, as well as aid in the preparation of CMC regulatory documents. The ideal candidate will fully utilize experience and knowledge of current synthetic techniques and methodologies and be well experienced in experimentation, from route discovery through kilo-lab and/or pilot plant syntheses. Candidates must be up to date with current techniques and methodologies used to evaluate and optimize safe, scalable reaction pathways. Candidates must have a proven track record in identification and optimization of scalable synthetic routes to key pharmaceutical intermediates.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 2+ years of industrial experience in pharmaceutical process chemistry, or an M.S. in chemistry with 4+ years experience in pharmaceutical process chemistry. Experience with cGMP manufacturing and with IND or NDA filings is a plus. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary team environment. Ability to work independently or in team environments under deadlines is a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.
